When I trim up the outboard the fuel pours out of the front of all three carbs. What should I do. Its 90hp Mercury 0D076761

I had a similar problem. My motor had the vacuum actuated diaghram fuel pump and there was a hole in it allowing gas to pour straight into the block

after reading a few other posts one this forum it seems like this may be somewhat normal occurance. I also took apart the carbs and doublechecked the float level, all at 7/16 per manual. The motor starts, idles and runs fine so maybe I'll live with it ?

I don't have marine expertise but My first thought was it's normal. I was going to post that after I saw that your question earlier today but thought I would let others chime in.

My thought is because you have float bowls that are normally running horizontal that once the engine get's tilted beyond a certain point the fuel will just want to drain out of the float bowls.

Arimatation is correct. If the bowls have fuel in them when the engine is tilted up it will leak out. The way some get around this is to pull the fuel line and burn the fuel out until the engine starts to stumble.

Normal problem, run it out of gas before you tilt it up.
