I didn't realize how close a tornado came to my house. It came within a mile of us. I didn't know until I looked at the local paper. My brother in laws friend had his house hit. His wife was home and she is okay. He works on a ship in the Gulf and wasn't home. Then a farmer had his barn distroyed. It looks as if all his cattle is accounted for.

I know there were warnings, but I didn't take it serious as there wasn't much wind associated with the down pouring rain. Guess I need to take better heed to the warnings from now on.

There was some crazy weather out my way too, a tornado warning had been issued but it passed just south. Did your boat fill up with water or did you get out there and plug it in time, looks to be slinging awfull low in the water even though it is on a trailer.

No, I keep the plug out. Motor and outdrive is off of it. It was given to me for a debt. Wish I had got my money back instead. In August 2007 when we had a major flood, water was within 4 inches of the top of the windshield. I just need to find time to cut it up and dispose of it.

Touched down in Leamington, Ontario last night. Just a few miles south of me and the other side of Lake Erie to you guys. I believe they have declared a state of emergency there.

Maybe donate it. The Salvation Army takes all kinds of boats in various stages of disrepair. Heck my friend bought a complete Potter sail boat from them for cheap. They didn't know what they had in their donation yard.
