Merc Alpha 1 Gen 1 ticking noise

Hey all i have a merc alpha 1 gen 1 making a very weird ticking noise, i have a video up take a look and let me know.

I could not hear your ticking but you sure were smart to lower the leg while the engine was running.
If you can have a look inside the exhaust tubes you may find the exhaust flappers have no rubber left on their edges. Mine were that way and made a jingling noise while idling and running at lower speeds.

You gotta lower the drive if you're gonna run it on the muffs!!! Actually you gotta lower it ANYTIME you are going to start it!!! That's probably why it's making all that noise! Not good for the U-joints!
