What size A/C for 25' boat

The portable's that you can get at Lowe's / Sams club, what size do I need to cool to about 74 degrees on a hot day? There are 9k btu and 11k btu. Not sure if either are enough btu.

I use a cruise aire 4800 btu hatch unit on mine and it works fine.

Sleeping though.......is not an option. The cuddy gets pretty hot and clamy in the summer nights.

The smallest window unit you can get (usually around 5,000 BTU, less than $100) should easily cool your boat cabin. I have one that I use to keep our bedroom (20' x 24' I think) at home cool when the hurricanes knock out the power and we're running off the generator.
