The motor is 5 years old, im the only owner..It all of a sudden started acting like it had water in the gas. I changed the water separate filter along with the in-line small filter. The same thing happen again but the in-line filter ring did not rise so i guess that tells me no water. I emptied the water separator filter and it ran fine for about 30 min then happen again, but started right back. Can anyone help me or tell me if it's water or how to check for water or something else?
Thanks...

pour a sample in a glass jar and look at it.
sounds like the VST filter is clogged, your gonna need to check the fuel rail pressure at the failure RPM.

Hi knoxfamily, Have you fixed your boat yet? I have the same motor and experincing the same thing. Was funny reading your post about the water separator, it was exactly what I did/seen. If you have uncovered what your problem, I would greatly appreciate some direction!
