I'm taking it that you guys don't spend a lot of time on the restoration forum. Transoms can be fixed, even ones that have a big hole in them. I don't plan on replacing the I/Os on this boat - this boat is getting fitted with outboards. The hull is actually in really good shape, which is why I'm working on it. I don't see a lot of opportunity in buying a hull which has just as much chance of being rotten as this one, and I can fix this one just fine.
