Which Manual???

[PAL/RI]

I found two manuals for my Evinrude 8hp 2 stroke (E8RETB)
First manual is a 1993 Johnson / Evinrude ER service manual for 2 - 8 engine i
Second is a 1993 Johnson / Evinrude ET service manual for 2-8 boat k
So which one do I need???

ER is 1994, the manuals for the 1994 models would be copyrighted in 1993.

The manuals are copyrighted in the actual year of introduction, which is one year before the named model year, just like cars.

In the 1990s, most factory service manuals' covers in the even model years are dark blue; The odd model years covers are white.
