Hi!

I have big problems with finding right parts for my Suzuki DT15 serial number 00582-385213 (it's NOT 01582-...). I checked the serial number at Brownspoint.com ( http://store.brownspoint.com/dt15.asp ) that contains detailed Micro-Fiche parts listings for the Suzuki Outboard models and years listed below and I can't find it.
I bought the used engine recently and the previous owner doesn't know the year of manufacture too. I attach a couple photos of parts ( http://www.mojalbum.com/bruno/suzukidt15 ) that can maybe help you to tell me which model year the engine is or which parts can I use. I'm very confused... What can I do? Can you help me please?
I need a few parts for my water pump (housing - water inlet, gaskets, grometts, oil seal, panel, impeller,...).
Thank you very much for the fast answer and your appreciated help!

Regards, Bruno from Slovenia

You have a 1983 model .... these motors didn't change for a lot of years, so you can buy parts for any year in the 80's for the 9.9hp/15hp .....

But there must be #01582-... for the 1983 model. Maybe is older than 1983?

Don't worry so much about the serial number, all the parts are exactly the same form all the 80's models .... just order parts for the 82 model it will fit!

I have a DT 9.9 possibly from the late 1990. I need a carburetor service kit and i also would like to re power it to 15hp. I was informed that all i need to do is to change the main jet and change the reed valves. Can you kindly confirm this an do you know were i can buy all the parts that i need including gasket set. (The reed valve housing, can i use the existing one i have and only change the valves them selves)?

Thanks a lot fro your time and effort but i really help in this area.

Thanks and regards

Camel 10 (if needed i can give you my e mail address).
