Evinrude trolling motor

Was wondering how you know if it is a 12 or 24 volt. It has a 24c on the fin on bottom of motor???

A model number would help. Was this motor on a boat you just bought or did you just buy the motor without asking about the details.

The model number is BF4PP 98. I got it as a gift was used.

The best I can figure is that they made this motor in both voltages, based on this parts list. Try to match up part numbers for parts that are specific to one voltage.

Forgot to tell you all it is a foot controlled steering.

On my johnson trolling motor...the tag under the pedal on the foot control gave model # ...serial # and below that it said on the tag 12 volt....check
the tag again....it might be there....I also had a 12 on the fin...

The tag says 1.3 kg.
