Motor: Mercury Bigfoot 60HP, 3 cyl, Carb: Walboro WME 58. w/manual fuel pump.

What size is the fuel line from the fuel pump to the carbs? and also the smaller line used with the enrichment system to each carb? I want to replace them with clear fuel line safe for ethanol.

Re: Fuel Line Size

You should be able to call a repair shop. I looked at a schematic and it does not say. They might even have the line you are looking for.

My 84 Mercury 60 uses 3/8" for all of the fuel lines.

Re: Fuel Line Size

I was about to ask the same question, but mine is a 1979 inline 6, 90hp. All the barbs and fittings are for 1/4". So what good does it do you to run 3/8" if it is constantly necked down at different places? Not that I am trying to argue, just it does not make much sense except for the "bigger is better" belief system. But, that is just my ignorance on the subject.

Re: Fuel Line Size

You got me????

I could be wrong but the last time I bought the main line, it was 3/8".

I do know from various other mechanical endeavors, different fuel pumps require different sized lines.
