Here is a idea for a cheap but strong battery box. Check out stanley tool boxes. I needed one for two golf cart batteries. They were 65 bucks at amarine stoe. I found a Stanley tool box with nice latches that fits them perfectly for 13 bucks, way better quality[excellent scrabble word] Just cut out a place for the cables and margrets your uncle.
