Mercruiser 3.0 spend hidraulic oil???

Hello,i have a problem with my Mercruiser. He is spending hidraulic oil not too much,but around half of liter in 1 month.When the boat is outside i can see any marks of oil on the floor, this is big question for me. Where that oil goes??What is the problem??

sounds like its going on the floor ie outside the boat !

when you see it on the ground ,look for wet spots on all hose and fittings try to follow it upwards till you get to the point where the leak is coming from.
if its hard too se it a white rag / old tee shirt may help .


you may need to run the drive up n down a little to get it to replicate the leak ...

Look in the bildge.
Run the drive up and down a few times and have a friend look for leaks under the engine.

Look under the engine in the bilge.
I must be going some place. i cant just disappear.

The boat is in the water now,what do you think is it a big problem???Expensive??

Hard to tell from elsewhere , but if it is all happening inside the boat you are going to have to just feel around on all the hoses and connections you can get to and see if you find a wet one ,then try to follow it to the leak point !
