mcculloch 45hp

hi i just bought a 45 hp mcculloch and it will not start ive replace the spark plugs, coils, condensers, points, cleaned the carb, and spark plugs. it wants to start but it just taking off on its own. i checked and i do have spark and fuels getting into the carb. any help would be greatly app.

Replacing parts is the most used, most expensive and least effective troubleshooting method known to man.

Go to the Engine FAQs Forum and do "outboard won't start". Find out why it won't start, then fix what is broke.

Let us know what happens.
