Do you have the vapor lock problem?I thought mercruiser came out with a solution for that and dont recall this being the solution.

I cant see enough gain out of it but if you have the problem then maybe think about it.

In my mind I dont see having fuel and water that close together as a good thing. Diagnosing a leak could suck and leave you stranded! :(

The only problems Mercruiser has had lately with vapor lock was with an electric fuel pump.
I seriously doubt you need a water cooled fuel line for a 470, if you do, then it's way too hot in your engine compartment and that needs fixed first, not a water cooled fuel line.

Thanks for the replies. Was not looking to get it, just curious if it was worth it. Am not having any issuses with vapor lock or hard starting, There must have been cases with it if they came out with this part? Thanks guys.

Come on Eric. Things are invented and sold all the time that have no real use other than putting money into the sellers pocket.

and gullable people without any knowledge or experience on these parts see them and gobble em up thinking my problems are solved. Thanks Don for the input. I'm cracking up thinking about it.
