1978 55 hp runs but wont rev up help

it will start but wont rev up replaced fuel pump and it didnt change anything .replaced fuel line didnt help.replaced line and ball didnt help out of ideas thanks

Will spraying pre mixed fuel into the carb throat pick up the revs?

havnt tried that but i will.Can hear sucking sound of air when she starts to bog down,with cover off. Once in while can get it to go high revs but when i try it again it dies
