I have a 1986 Glastron 140, Im trying to see why my points are getting oil on them. Im confused, why when my motor is running and I have the muffs on the water from muffs comes into the the bilge . Thanks for any reply!

Basically, you have 2 unrelated problems there.
Oil on the points is because the bushings are worn out on the distributor shaft and allowing oil up into the distributor.
Your water leak? well, look and see what is leaking and where. I know as a professional marine tech that is what I would have to do.
