Is removing the oil injection a wise choice?

I recently purchased a 1991 Yamaha pro 50, that has the oil injection removed. I have owned outboards with the oil injection taken off before and never run into any issues. I was just wondering if it would be wise to re-install the oil injection assembly to get the most out of the motor?

I'm a fan of oil injection...so I would put things back the way they were.

Others here will argue that its better to not have it and just pre mix in the tank..

either way I do not see any harm but i have heard that oil injection is more efficient than pre mixing..

motor that old would be cost prohibitive to reinstall the stuff.
