I am having a problem with power when more then one person is in the boat. Its a 1970 15 ft Crestliner (Fiberglass) with a 6 gallon gas tank, a battery and two reclinable seats in it. Its a 50 HP evinrude lark (1971) and has good compression.
I have noticed that the motor splashes to the sides while at full throttle. Take a look at youtube video - Is my engine too low in the water? causing the splashing? or is this normal?

The engine height should be such that the anti ventilation plate above the prop is about level with the bottom of the transom.

I double checked it several times. It is in line with the cavitation plate.

did you try trimming it out a little. If dont have tilt and trim move the pin out 1 or 2 and try that.
