lower unit problem

[Capri 2050ss]

I lowered the lower unit now it won't raise. What can be the problem? or how can I raise it manually? The boat is a Bayliner Capri 2050ss the engine is a MerCruiser 5.0L V8. Thanks

Welcome aboard Capri!!! I am going to move this to the I/O section. You should post some more ID info for your engine/drive combo.

I replaced the up solenoid Saturday morning and all is well. Back to the lake!
