Re: 4th of July 2010 - Tell us your stories! (post pics!)
Friday and Saturday my daughter took the boat out with her friends; I did some work on the other one.
Sunday I went out to catch bait and then my wife and I went fishing for a while in the Bay, it was a little rough, then cruised a few miles up the beach to an inlet and ate dinner at a dockside restaurant, then back out at dark to anchor off the beach from which they were shooting fireworks. In addition to that display we could see 4 or 5 other big displays as well as "private" ones up and down the beach. Came home in fairly choppy water, passing a large stream of boats leaving downtown's fireworks, many of the boats were poorly lighted, running too fast and all over the channel. I just eased up the edge, out of the way.
Sunday it was hot but I went out fishing in the harbor for a few hours. Love having a bimini. Also love being able to just tie it up to the pier and walk away.
it's great to have so many options, and the center console is the most versatile boat in which to enjoy all of them, without worry about the conditions--of the water or of the boat.
