I have A DT-115 1999 It starts right up runs for 2-3 sec. and dies ..

do you have a question that you would like to ask?

What all have you done to the motor so far, and give a little history of what has been going on. Has it been setting up for awhile? When did it last run properly.

Are you lifting the rev lever so it can fast idle until it is warmed up?

I picked up an 3 gal. gas tank.. I was told I may have bad gas.. it sense it not getting gas.. but gas is flowing to carb.. should I have my carb rebuilt?
You turn the key it fires up and dies in 1sec

Wouldn't a 99 DT115 be electronic fuel injected or did they offer a carbed model that year?

Not sure about your question "how do I do this?". I'll assume you are taking about using known new gas from a tank. You don't even need the fuel bulb, I have taken a small tank filled with gas and inserted a hose from the fuel inlet on the engine. A good low pressure fuel pump will pick it right up.

Hay I just got my Dt115 EFI back I Needed a lower unit so $5,000 later. The boat run but it is hard the start. It turns right over runs and then stalls. If I have it in the water i can start and go but most of the times it stalls at low idel. So I need some help with a stalling at idel...

My 1996 dt115 was doing the same thing it needed the carbs cleaned the E10 gas screwed them up .
