I have a 1977 Playcraft 24ft Pontoon and I would like to paint the fence.(not the silver rails just the solid aluminum panels.) What type of paint would ya'll recommend? It is a "poo" brown color right now. I am thinking maybe a aquamarine color but I don't know what type of paint to be looking at.

Try to get a color close to the blue of the seats, will look like it came that way.

Did you prime the sides before you used the rustoleum? Also, did you buy your rustoleum already colored or did you have it tinted?

I did the inside fence of mine with rustoleum too. Just don't forget to clean it well to get all the dirt and grime off before you paint. Years ago I used rustoleum on a camping trailer and it looked good for years.

Did you remove the panels to paint them or mask everything off and paint on the boat?

Mask and paint, you will never get the panels out.

What type of paint can be used on the aluminum railing? I used Plasti-Kote on the panels & it is holding up very well.
