when i was yunger i worked at a toyota dealer. i got a new 1993 toyota tercel in for warinty work. the complante was thet half of the electrical did not work ( tail litghts,heater,radio ect).i had worked on the car for a cupple of days finding sevral problims all the time scratching my head on how all this stuff failed. i had to git tn the rear seat for something and the carpet was soked and the seat was wet. i didnt want to know what it was.i wint back and opined the trunk and ther was standing water.
i told the service writer and he called the custumer and he started laphing and sead "o yah. i forgot to tell you, i was backing my boat down the ramp and whene i tryed to stop it wouldent, and the boat pulled the car under the water up to the ft doors"
so we asked him how big the boat was and he told us it was (a lsmall) 19 foot bayliner
1st thing i thaught was WTF was this guy thinking towing a 19foot boat behind an 8foot car, 2nd thing i thaught is he baught a tercel because of the new bayliner.
