Evinrude 1997 30HP (e30rleud) Electric Starter?

Is it possible to convert a 1997 Evinrude 30HP 2-stroke outboard, model e30rleud, to use an electric starter? I'm hoping to find a complete part list as I'm a bit overwhelmed trying to find this data.

Also, is it possible to leave the rope starter intact as backup?

Yes, you can look-up outboard parts on the BRP website.
Click link below.
Select "OB Accessories" from the drop-down menu. Then select your model year. Then select "Electrical 1997". Scroll down and select "Tiller Electric Start Kit, 20, 25, 30, 35 (2 cylinder)".

Go to the electronic parts catalog HERE

In the drop down list select OB Accessories ( NOT the Accessories tab)

Find 1997, look at Electrical. Towards the bottom you will find the kit for " Tiller electric starting kit 20, 25, 30,35 (2 cylinder )" Click that and zoom in on the diagram. Presumably that's the kit you are interested in.
$644 but with limited availability!

I note it comes with a flywheel, presumably because the original is not suitable for engaging with a starter motor. The replacement flywheel may or may not accept the drive from the old recoil start.
