I have a 2006 Crownline LPX with a 5.0L VolvoPenta SX outdrive. The trim indicator stays in the "up" position unless it is lowered completely down - then it pegs the "down" position - the second you slighly raise the trim, it pegs the "up" position again - nothing in between. What should I check? Thanks, Scott

Re: Volvo SX Trim Indicator Problems

Suspect a bad trim sensor. In a nutshell, it's a small bolt on piece back on the lower unit, it's wire harness goes through the transom and plugs into the main harness in engine compartment.
The feedback arm on the sender could have been jared out of place.
