After market or Mercruiser parts

Newbie here will be attempting to replace the lower shift cable, u-joint bellows and exhaust bellows. I see on iboats that the parts are either Sierra or Mallory. Are either of these OEM or would I have to go to another source for Mercruiser parts. Or are after-market parts OK for this application?

I believe the Sierra parts are made by GLM and Mallory make their own.

Neither are OEM. I have used GLM (Sierra) bellows ONCE in the past and vowed never to use anything other than OEM again. The quality is just not there.

That goes for exhaust manifolds and elbows too... The non genuine ones are cast much thinner, hence the lower price.... But they also only last half as long...

I use alota Seirra parts,...
Just did a transom job on my barge this spring,...
I bought the Merc cable,+ Sierra everythingelse....
