Dry Gas... anyone?

Has anyone ever tried to use Dry Gas in a tank to restore old fuel? It supposedly restores the combustive properties to fuel that has been spoiled by water. I'm thinking this may also be a good additive when using E10.

Nope, nor would I.

If the fuel is old enough to be concerned about, drain the tank. Use it up a little at a time in your other motorized stuff.

Dry Gas is normally Isopropoly Alcohol. it simply absorbs moisture. I would think it will not help restore anything. It is not recommended for 2 cycle motors, as well

Dry Gas predates E-10, and is not your solution.

Err on the safe side, and remove any suspect gas and start again. The possible problems trying to use phase seperated ethanol laced gas is well documented, and quite costly.

Happy boating!
