Hi,
I picked up a fuel pump diaphragm kit and have a questions.
The diaphram itself which is the solid black rubber type material is installed facing the engine and the gasket sits on top of it correct?
I am only able to replace the removable reed gasket in the center that is held in by 2 screws because the book says the outside ones are pressed in and if removed they would need to be replaced and pressed in. The center gasket was worn so more than likely the outer ones are as well but I do not want to get into replacing them right now because I want to enjoy the rest of the season.
The larger round gasket that is included I am scratching my head on because there was not one when I took the pump apart, is this supposed to be used if the rubber slotted gasket is worn or broken?
