Hello everyone... I am looking at potentially purchasing a 92 Crownline 19' for a decent price however, due to a storm the side was cracked... everything else is in great shape... how difficult would it be to fix this? How costly would it be? Attached is a picture. Thanks in advance for your help!

Moved this to the Restoration section. You'll get a more focused response over here. Good luck!

no problem at all.

thak kind of stuff happens all the time.
(if thats all the damage)

the repair must be glassed from the inside.
then the crack re aligned and repaired like a standard gellcoat repair.

it would cost less than 200 for me to repair that.

Hello Alti..

First off check the rub rail at that point for any damage ( I could not see damage in your pics at the RR ).

If there is no visual damage at that crack point then it did not come from some storm or slapped against the dock or something.

From your first pic it looks like there was a drastic impact on the hull during extream use. Busted ..

Check ALL the bulkheads and stringer glass tabbing for delam..

Check that the doors and cabs dont bind.

Just looks like more then what meets my eye .. IMO..kinda fishy..

YD.
