yamaha 1990 130hp not enough fuel

hey guys i have a 1990 L130ETXD the motor sat for about 2 years while i restored the boat now the boat is done and i need to get the motor top notch i have it runing but not very well it will idle but sounds pretty bad i took it out and tried to get on a plane and it will not go over about 2800 rpm so i pumped the primer ball it was hard i decided to manualy close the choke plates a little bit and the motor took off so i balive it is not enough fuel i have rebuilt and cleaned the carbs did not notice any change. spark and compresion are great! i have mesed with the mixture screw a bit but when i am idle and trying to adjust them i hear or notice no change in runing comdition anyone have any ideas?????????

If you can choke and that helps then there is fuel in the carbs and the jets/passages are plugged. need to do a better job on the carbs

I had a similar problem. I would check the condition of the fuel lines. If they are gray on the outside they may have failed on the inside from the new fuels. I have attached a photos of the inside of my fuel lines

hey, those mercury,silverado and sierra lines do that.
they are cheap and avalible most every where and have made me a ton of money the past two years.
you outta see what they do to EFI fourstroke or HPDI fuel systems.
any line with a vinyl inner liner will do it.
anytime I get a boat in with that gray line the first thing I do is cut a chunk out for inspection.
yes the factory lines and bulbs are pricey,they will also last 10 years or better on the average where the 20 dollar cheapie at wally world or west marine makes a year,maybe.

hey guys thanks for all the info does anyone know the factory specs turns out on the mixture screws
