Re: keel repair

Marine Tex is epoxy, its just a thickened version and is white.

There are a couple of chips that could use some glass, but you could probably get away with just something like Marine Tex and then a Keel Guard type product.

Re: keel repair

ok, been looking into the marine tex stuff, it seems to be like jb weld a quick fix. sorry for all the dumb questions i am new to this. if i wanted to do it the right way wouldn't i use what the boat was made of? fiberglass and polyester resin, then gel coat? can i skip the gel coat if it is going to be covered by the keel guard?
thanks, and sorry again for the dumb question
