I have a older shorelander trailer and the rollers really seam like they are really starting to mark the boat up. What is the best way to clean this off with out using wetsand paper. Also you can see in the pictures the v that has two chunks of rubber that are gtting really bad and really marking the keel up I need one that will not mark it all up but have not seen them anywere. I really would like to replace the rollers, to not have this problem but just don't have the two hundred plus dollars right know since I need 32 of them. Thanks In advance

I would try Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the boat to remove the marks.

Never seen bow v-block/pads like that.
So I might try a sheet of thin polyethelene or polyurethane, silicone adhesived to the existing pads.

Then I would ditch the rollers and install bunks.

if it was mine; i would hit it with my porter cable variable speed 7" buffer with 3m wax restorer and then install one of these keel shields

there might be a problem with the keel shield though. i'm not sure you cam use one with rollers. would be worth checking out

I thought about getting ride of the rollers and making my own bunks for it just can't decide.

i like the bunks better. i trailer a lot of miles and i think they fit and support the bottom of the boat better. also if the boat is stored on the trailer for a long time ^^^^^ same applies.

this is just my option after studying and looking at both when i have a chance.

If you can get the rollers off I would scrub the ever lovin heck out of them and soak them in some 303. I did this with my guide rollers and it seemed to get rid of the chalkiness and black marks for a while. Not a good fix but it may work until you get new rollers.
