Steering cable

Bought a boat from an auction and have found the steering cable is siezed. Anyone know a trick to fix or am I stuck with replacing?

I do not see any electrical aspect of a mechanical steering cable. Are you planning on using the steering cable to conduct electricity?

replace it.

Might consider replacing the entire steering system, as you can pick one up for only $30 more than the price of the cable alone.

Replaced the whole system...After parts on the first trip and parts the salesman forgot to mention I needed on the second trip and fuel there and back......$374.00
