okay, after going and looking at the hose barbs at my local Ace hardware, I am thinking that the barbed side is not 3/16 as I originally thought...the threaded side is MUCH too large....any help here?
You have to tell them what size threaded end you want. A 3/16" barb could have 1/8, 1/4, or maybe even 3/8" pipe thread on the threaded end.
Maybe you need to find a different store.
oh I found a 3/16 barb by 1/8 npt thread, but the thread was MUCH larger diameter than the barb, the one on my carb it looks like the barb is the same size as the thread diameter
