i have a 91- 94 gt200 johnson andcan't get above 4000 wot change 2 coil and sparkplugs thinking it might be the prop and what is a good fuel filter and what kind of water separter for this motor

Were you ever able to get above 4000? What is the WOT range for you motor? You can gain 200 rpms for every inch of pitch decrease, what size prop is currently on the motor? What boat? How much does the boat weigh? I can try and help as much as possible, but we are going to need more information. You might want to post this in the Prop forum, or forum for you motor to get better results.
