i have a 25hp wont start don't know whats wrong if you spray starter fuild in carb starts right up then cuts right off please help

Carb probably dirty , needs to be removed cleaned and probably would benefit from a new kit. Have you tried adjusting the idle mix needle to make it rich during startup, verified that the choke is working???

Do not use starting fluid in your engine, it does not have any oil in it.
It sounds like you have a fuel delevery problem. Check and see if you are getting fuel to the carb when you pump the primer bulb, if so it is time to remove the carb and overhaul.

i took carb off about two weeks ago found a leak from filter to carb fixed it then it started havent ran it since tried today woundnt start again
