Re: Starcrafts for sale on iboats!

TO MUCH MONEY Boat looks in poor condition and with no motor very high price even on the Oregon coast I just bought a 16 ss in May that was a lot less desirable for 800. In Lincoln City Oregon 800 mile round trip. Had to re do trailer to get it home. But it had a very nice 50 hp motor which pushes it very well after the rebuild. The rebuild in this area will run about 1500 dollars if all goes well.

KEV Have you ever replaced the rear below the splash slideing panels. The ones I see on some boats with the holes in them??? I would like to make some in my work shop then install them. They are much more attractive then a piece of upholstry hanging down.

I know that you can buy that exact aluminum "screening" at Lowes.

What would you consider a good price? I have been dealing with a Paul at Y Marina and they have a '71 16' and this '73 18'. I want the 18' but he isn't doing any dancing yet. I currently have a 12' starcraft but it is too small for the family and want to start venturing out into the rivers. I am thinking around $800-$900. what y'all think?

I see some of these partitions on many of the early 70s and 80s also . They look neat and clean up the deck.

Drums, you might want to start a new thread. and more info will help us give you better answers......what sort of motor each boat has, for instance.
