I am getting ready to purchase a boat with this motor on it. The seller said that the boat will not pick water up from the bunny ears but does fine when the boat is in the water. Is this a problem? He said its due to the long shaft Thanks!
I think you should be able to run that engine on muffs, long or short shaft, doesn't matter.
If the owner will not put it in the water and run it I would walk away.
so I went down and looked at the boat with the bunny ears no water would come out, so I took it to the water and the water came out just fine. I dont get it
