1985 merc 260 thunderbolt 4, merc carb# 1347-8292 rotchester 4mv
(new everything, except motors)
OH and I tightened down the front 2 mounting bolts/nuts on the carb as the were not much more than finger tight.

Well this has gotten progressivly worse over the last couple years and we were going to splash the boat for the first time this year.
put the ear muffs on and fired up the port motor, great no problems.
Go to the starboard engine, earmuffs, and crank crank crank over and over, yup flooded it retried ten minutes started ruffly, take it up to 1500+- rpm runs great, wait till choke fully opens and back it to idle "BLAH" dead.
finally starts to idle alittle before it dies and holds around 450-500 RPM???

What do I need to adjust the IDLE???
air/idle screw,
pull up the RPM's by adjusting the linkage??

What's your thoughts

Thanks
Rob
