Tell Tale Water Leak Repair.

Came back in after a half hour run, got to the dock, shut off and tilted the motor up ready for the trailer. Saw water dripping out from where the cables and fuel are fed in. Tilted back down and took the hood off. Had about 2 inches of water in there. Initially thought the base gasket had given out !!! however got it home and tried it out on the muffs. Found a leak at the "T" piece where the stats hose and the water control valve hose meet at the tell tale. You can see the water squirting out in the second photo.

Wanting a quick fix I went to the local hardware store and bought a "T" fitting and some heat resistant see through hose. Used some extra fuel hose to stabilize it going through the tell tale fitting.
Photos of the result. Tested and working great.
$4.20 repair and I still have some hose left over.
