leaking rebuilt carb yamaha 60ltr 2stroke

i just rebuilt the carbs on my 2005 60 hp 2 stroke outboard. motor runs but leaks gas starting at the bottom carb threw the vent then ventually threw all 3 carbs. boat shop told me the floats needed adjusted does anyone know not how to adjust them but at position do i adjust them at thanks very much ken.

I would think your service manual will have that info.

Normally turn the carb upside down and and set at parallel with gasket surface will get real close if you do not have the specs in manual. normally I have not had to adjust new floats when installed properly

I would be looking at trash in needles and seats, not letting them close off

when i took them back apart the floats were sitting right on the bottom.

what do you mean "bottom"?

did the kit come with the needles that you have to install the small plastic piece into the needles before installing into carb? if so did you install them?

yes i put new ones in see i tok them apart and i remember the floats having tension on them and i had a guy rebuilt them for me now there is no tension on them.if that doesnt help sorry.,

Something is not right. But I do not know what you mean by being on the bottom or tension on floats Take it back to the guy the rebuilt them
