Ye Billy Sol was a thinker and a planner, would have worked if he had a little more time. His partner that bailled was always thought to be Lady Bird.

who sang that anyway, I remember it, but faintly?

Not Surprising, you were probably only 10 or 12 at the time. Jesse Lee Turner had a version.
SEE: JFK Conspiracy....
Weren't the Hunt Brothers from Texas?

In 1981, Hunt won $650,000 in a libel suit against Liberty Lobby, a right-wing organization, after it published an article accusing him of being involved in the conspiracy to kill John F. Kennedy. The author, Mark Lane, defended Liberty Lobby in a second trial in 1985, and he successfully overturned the original libel award. Lane outlined his theory about Hunt's and the CIA's role in Kennedy's murder in a 1991 book, Plausible Denial.

Awkshoeally, I was refering to the Hunt's who tried to corner the Silver market. I am thinking Lamar, but then he was born in Arkansas, and founder of the Dallas Texans, later the KC Chiefs. (One of 14 children by four different mothers) E Howard was from NY.

If my memory serves me correctly, it was "Bunker Hunt" who tried to corner the silver market.

Yah, I think that was him. Lost his butt, too, when silver crashed, as I recall. I unloaded every ounce of silver I could find just before the crash, so it worked out fine for me.
