I was able to pull the carb off/apart. It looked like all the parts were in good shape...float operating fine...no holes. The needle below the float was sticking up,but that seemed the be the right position...it moved up and down freely (it would spring back up when I depressed it...I am assuming that is normal)<br /><br />What I did find is some rust colored "junk" at the base of of the float chamber. Some of this junk was in front of two holes right beside the pin. They tapered toward the carb barrel are these the jets? Could this have been my problem?<br /><br />I ran her for a little while hooked up to the muffs and it seemed to do fine...the idle seems a little too low now, however. Is that the idle adjustment screw at the base of the carb???<br /><br />Please forgive my lack of knowledge on the carb...I am a rookie.
