Who made raven boat or is there one out there like it. I have a 1989 raven boat.

All i know about them is they made them 2 years, 89 and 90. They made a bunch of different types, CC, bow riders, deck boats, cuddies, all 17 to 23 feet. The early 90's were a tough time for boat manufacturers, many went under. I'm not sure as to why for Raven tho.

Blind, The first 3 letters of your hull identification number (HIN) is the manufacturers code. It should also be listed on your title. Go to www.uscgboating.org/recalls/mic_database.htm and enter the 3 letters (for the MIC) and it will tell you where they were built, when the business opened, if they are closed and a little more info.

The USCG.mil website has the MIC database, also. I believe the MIC is reserved until 10-years after production stops. If the last boat was made in 1990 it is possible the MIC on your certification label may be omitted from the USCG database or re-assigned to another manufacture.

I just purchased a 1985 cheetah v160 for $2400.Who manufactured this boat? It seemed to be a good boat for the price. It is really my first inboard boat, any thought on the manufacturer. if any one has any links to this model or any links on the info of this boat would be helpful. thanks
