Heres the scoop, i took my boat out last weekend. noticed some dripping around the head gasket and then some knocking so i figure blown gasket. ok. now i order new gaskets for 103 bucks replace the manifold gasket also get everything together real nice and start her up. pers like a kitten. ok time for the water. i take it to the water and drive her around for a bit no big deal. i kill it poull it to the beach ok. i want to go back out, so i start it. . . O NO NO. . . she wont start. starter sounds sick, liek it wont engage all the way. ok i tear it down barney style and find rust all in it. clean it and put it back together and it sounds sciker
sounds like grinding gears and its smoking O NO! well anyway that is problem one. problem two comes along in the form of there is still water getting into the oil. WHY o WHY! i dont know where else to look. the block isnt cracked i dont think it didnt look it when i took the head off ang spun the crank. but how is water getting into the oil now? where else can i check? please o please someone help!
