I'm looking for a dipstick and tube for a 74 302 Pleasurecraft inboard. The tube is the one that goes in the side of the oil pan. I can't seem to locate one. Anybody got any ideas?<br />Thanks

Have you tried any PCM dealers? Where are you located at?

Yeah, PCM has not used the 302 in a number of years, so no stock on hand for a part that is not in very high demand. The motor is acually a Waukesha but Dresser bought them and now only deals in diesel motors. I guess the best bet is a ford dealer and recalibrate the stick for the marine oil pan.

You can pick up dipsticks at any auto-parts store. They even have universal ones that are easily adjusted. Also, eBay is always a good source for such things.

Summit and Jegs both sell a universal dip stick with a braided stainless tube that can be cut to length. Very clean looking.
