Welcome to iboats :) I believe it is 320 H.P. With the serial # in hand you should be able to go to Mercury's site and get a definite answer........JK

Ok, I don't have the ability to look up serial numbers, but I will say, you have some mixed Mercruiser nomenclature in your title. You have TBI and MAG, and that can't be. You also have Bravo & Alpha, and that can't be.
Is it perhaps a 5.7LX EFI Gen + ??? if it is, it's 280HP
If it's a 5.7LX EFI it's 260.
If it's a 5.7 MAG it multiport injected not TBI and it's 300hp.
No 320 HP from Mercruier back then. And never 320 hp from a 5.7 Mercruiser.

MCM 320 E.F.I. was/is a 350 production performance g.m. block that was produced in the 80's and could have either an Alpha or Bravo drive, not sure that they made them until '97 though. However , if it never existed, I don't think that there would be a picture of it in service manual #9, nor would 20 or so pages be devoted to trouble shooting this model :D ..........JK

After looking at that S/N on the Merc site it looks to me like it was a Carbed 5.7. The output at the propshaft would have been 230 bhp, possibly lower if it is a 2 barrel. I believe to get 250 at the prop it has tobe a TBI EFI and the 300s were the MPI Mags. Also, I would bet that in a production boat like the Crownline the drive is an Alpha.

My .02.

well there you go. I have never heard of it. What in the world did it have for injection & camshaft to get 320hp? Or is that 320 at the flywheel, not propshaft? but if you weren't sure it was produced until 1997, why were you so sure that guy's engine was 320hp? Oh, and by the way in 1997, there was not a 320hp 350. I was trying to point out the contradictory info given to us.
Good job Quietcat.

Sorry to ruffle feathers here....I said I believe that it is a 320....And advised him where he could find out...Not sure how Merc. came up with the h.p. rating or how they got that much out of it....Just that a mcm 350 c.i.-320 h.p. does indeed exist. I do agree that he has some terms mixed up, and directed him take his serial # to the merc. site and find out for sure.....'nuff said.....JK
