Can someone tell me the HP rating of a '92 350 Magnum?<br /><br />It has a roller cam and hi-rise manifold.<br /><br />s/n: 0D718896<br /><br />Thanks..........

Don't have manuals here, but believe it was 250HP.

FBT, I think the H.P. is around 270. You can go to merc.'s site with your serial # and they will tell you exactly what you have....JK

JK,<br /><br />Where? I can get a parts reference, but it doesn't tell you the rating or the exact configuration by S/N. I have been able to glean some info from there, but not the rating . . . <br /><br />Are you saying to contact them through the site?

I contacted Mercruiser.........<br /><br />They told me the engine is rated at 240HP at the prop shaft.<br /><br />How does this compare to the older 260?<br /><br />Was that 260 at the crank...........?

Yup, they were about 230 - 235 at the propshaft if I remember correctly.
