There is also a small company that makes a rod holder that the base snaps into your mooring cleat. pretty slick and easy on/off.

Great idea, I almost an eye drilling through fibreglass when the shank broke on my keyhole bit. Anybody know a better way to drill through fibre glass?<br /><br /> Jim

Yes that is a Beckley's sticker - purchased it April 2003. Good group.
