Running I/O motor out of water

Just bought first boat, is there anything you can buy which connects to the outboard for a garden hose so I can work on engine without overheating. I have a 3.0 mercruiser 1988.<br /><br />Thanks

go purchase some ear muffs..They are real cheap..Like under $5 usually..Wal-Mart carries them..If you have a Wal-Mart there..
